Sandro Pisani è un fotografo freelance con base a Torino. Si avvicina alla fotografia dopo aver vissuto diverse esperienze lavorative che gli hanno regalato più visioni della società in cui vive.

Sceglie il reportage, vedendo in esso (ed attraverso di esso) la comunione tra il bisogno di raccontarsi e la sua attenzione verso ciò che succede nel mondo. Irrequieto per natura, inizia a considerare il reportage come punto di partenza e non di arrivo della propria visione fotografica. Iniziano così le contaminazioni e l'utilizzo di più media.

Segue un percorso da autodidatta prima tecnico e poi concettuale arricchendolo con incontri formativi importanti che tempreranno le sue idee. Non amando particolarmente le etichette, insegue spesso la strada della fusione di più linguaggi per riuscire ad esprimersi.

Ha collaborato con alcune testate specializzate italiane ed internazionali e tiene workshop propri. Svolge su commissione lavori per aziende ed istituzioni.

Il suo lavoro è focalizzato sulla comunicazione attraverso l'uso della fotografia e di altri media, principalmente in un modo che ama definire “umanistico”.

Nel 2004 ha vinto il premio Italgas Ambiente Italia.
Nel 2008 è stato segnalato al Premio della Qualità Creativa in Fotografia Professionale.



Sandro Pisani is a freelance photographer based in Turin. He approached to photography after living different work experiences.

Chooses the reportage, seeing in it the communion between the need to tell himself and his attention to what is happening in the world.

His restlessness leads him to consider the reportage as a starting point and not a goal of his photographic vision. He does not like the labels, and often follow the road of merging several languages to be able to express what he wants.

He worked for several Italian and International specialist publications and holds its own workshops. He works on assignment for company and institutions.

His work focuses on communication through the use of photography and other media primarily in an way that he likes to call "humanistic".

In 2004 he won the prize "Italgas Ambiente Italia".
In 2008 he was reported to the Quality Award in Creative Professional Photography.
